Unity® MRTK3 Package 1.2.0

  • Magic Leap SDK Version 1.2.0 (or later)
  • Magic Leap Unity SDK Version 1.8.0 (or later)
  • Unity® Version: 2022.2.x (or later)

Release Features​

  • Provide compatibility with the MRTK3 version 4.0.0 release.
    • Package functionality and options will continue to work with either the MRTK3 version 3.0.0+ or version 4.0.0+ releases.
    • The runtime rig configuration option will work with either the legacy (version 3.0.0) MRTK rig or the new (version 4.0.0) MRTK rig.

Bug Fixes​

  • Fixed an issue with detecting when the package systems are running on a Magic Leap 2 platform for secondary users, now enabling certain package functionality in this specific case where it was previously disabled.

Known Issues​

  • When using the OpenXR provider, there can be performance issues during application start with the use of some shaders, some of which are included with MRTK3's standard assets.Enabling the Graphics Jobs (Experimental) option in Player Settings has been observed to help mitigate these performance issues.
