Files
The Files view shows you everything that's available to you on your Magic Leap device's local file system. You can browse the different categories, upload, download, organize your files or delete information as needed.
You can also see how much storage you've used, and what kinds of files are taking up space.
Navigating the Files View
Across the top of the section displaying your files, you'll see the heading My Files and to the right of it four icon buttons:
- Up arrow icon - Click this to upload a file from your computer.
- Copy icon - You can select a file and use this to make a copy of it.
- Folder with arrow pointing right icon - Click this to move a file you selected.
- Folder with plus icon - Click this to add a new folder.
If you click on a folder or specific file from the display, you get three additional icons:
- Down arrow icon - Click this to download the file you selected.
- Pencil icon - Click this to rename the selected file.
- Trash icon - Click this to throw away the selected file.
As with the other views, if you click the three vertical dots in the upper right corner, you can download bug reports, check settings, get help from the documentation portal, or download a diagnostic log.
